  • Reading Renaissance/ Accelerated Reading/ STAR and Renaissance Place - Trinity is a reading school. Children are checking out books and taking AR tests by December of their Kindergarten year. This research-based program is an integral part of reading at the K-8 campus. Renaissance Place is a web-based software program that includes all AR testing available.
  • Sing, Spell, Read, & Write - Trinity uses this multi-sensory reading program that provides a seamless curriculum in Pre K 3 yrs. through 2nd grade. It is research based and approved by No Child Left Behind. Sing, Spell, Read, & Write is a reason kindergarteners are mostly fluent readers by January of their school year. Kindergarten students at Trinity score as a group in the 98% on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. 
  • Trinity Writing Project and 6 Trait Writing - The Trinity Writing Project and 6 Trait Writing are revisited often through staff training and through the assessment of writing portfolios. Language and writing textbooks, grades 2-8, emphasize 6 Trait Writing and serve as the base of our writing curriculum. 
  • Math Renaissance/ Math Facts in a Flash/ STAR Math - This math program with its components is one of the top 6 research-based math programs in the nation. This program serves to remediate and accelerate learning, 1st grade through calculus. 
  • Portfolio System - Trinity's portfolio system provides administrative, teacher, and student self- assessment. The portfolio is passes with the student from year to year. In the portfolio is valuable information about writing, benchmarks, and testing. The portfolio is an important part of our assessment of student performance. 
  • World Bazaar and Renaissance - Trinity's 5th and 6th graders participate in two yearly projects that integrate social studies, language arts, writing, research, science, art and oral communication. Students work independently at school on projects that culminate in lifelong learning experiences. 
  • Technology -  All Trinity Episcopal students are involved in computer education, Pre K through 8th grade. Jump Start Learning, Type to Learn, Easy Book Deluxe. and internet learning games make up part of our education software, In addition, students become proficient in Word and research through our computer lab. Reading Renaissance and Math renaissance are important parts of our technology. Teachers in all subject areas integrate technology into their curriculum. 
  • United Streaming - This internet based learning tool provides teachers of all K-8 students with videos for teaching their curriculum. Its the leading resource for schools, featuring the largest and most current digital content library for teachers. 
  • Middle School Enrichment Classes - Middle school students are provided enrichment classes in Photoshop, Creative Writing, Health, Maps, Graphs, and Charts, and Local History. 
  • Trinity students, depending on grade level, may participate in intramural competitive sports, drama club, and lessons in piano and guitar. Tutoring is also available after school.
